Who are we and what do we do?

NOLA Fall Protection Ltd is the sister company to Paul Pybus Scaffolding Ltd.  We provide our clients with innovative fall safety decking solutions.  Based out of Sunderland, we cover the North-East of England as well as the surrounding areas.

NOLA specialises in eliminating falls from height, providing safety decking solutions to housebuilders, which in turn ensures a safe working platform that increases speed of build and provides trades access at height.

What is a fall protection system and why do we use it?

There is a hierarchy of fall protection measures to be taken when planning or carrying out work at height, including work internal to the building:

• Safety decking is the primary component in preventing falls internally to the building.
• Avoid work at height
• Use work equipment or other measures to prevent falls
• Use work equipment or other measures to minimise the distances and consequences of a fall, should one occur

Those planning work at height must:

Avoid working at height where they can, use work equipment or other measures to prevent falls where they cannot avoid working at height and where they cannot eliminate the risk of a fall, use the work equipment or other measures to minimise the distances and consequences of a fall should one occur.
